The French and Indian War (-1) (17 dez 1754 ano – 7 out 1763 ano)
Descrição:
The French and Indian War was a war fought in North America between the 13 British colonies and the French Colonies, with both sides being supported by various Indigenous tribes. Although the British won the war, had several long-term negative consequences for both them and the French. The consequences for France were obvious, as they lost their North American colonies. Although it established British dominance in North America, it led to a significant debt for the nation, prompting heavy taxation on the American Colonies, which, among other issues, fueled discontent and ultimately caused the American Revolution. Additionally, the war disrupted Native American territories, triggering long-lasting conflicts between Indigenous peoples and colonists.
