German Appeasement… ending with the invasion of Poland (3 set 1939 ano – 6 out 1939 ano)
Descrição:
Giving people what they want to prevent them from hurting you or being angered. Appeasement was morally wrong because it gave countries to the Nazis who mistreated people who weren’t German. Britain’s Policy of Appeasement is an example, the British Prime minister wanted to avoid the war by negotiating with other countries, he appeased Hilter and gave him territorial demands. Appeasement was popular but wrong, people wanted to avoid conflict and wars, especially with the impact and trauma of the previous Great War and dealing with the Depression at the time. Many people also believed that the Treaty of Versailles was too harsh on Germany as well, believing Germany had a right to regain and rebuild.
