The Zerc'th are a conqueror race, and once they found the (to their standards) primal humans, they swiftly took over the Human solar system. The humans attempted to fight back but it didn't matter as the humans were powerless to the Zerc'th, with tech that is hundreds of years behind their alien overlords, the humans after this war were nothing but worker bees to the Zerc'th.
