*Secret alliance between France and Scotland against Edward I
*Philip IV gained Guienne, only to be forced to return it due to revolts
*Break between 1298 and 1300
*Ended with Treaty of Paris

Treaty - Gascony is to be returned to England and Philip IV's daughter (Isabella of France) was to marry Edward I's son (Edward II) as previously agreed upon (Treaty of Montreuil)

This sparked the beginning of the Hundred Year War
