The Tet Offensive was a military campaign during the Vietnam War that occurred from January 30th, 1968 until September 23rd, 1968 in 3 different phases. The North Vietnamese launched a wave of attacks late in the night into South Vietnam, which stunned both South Vietnam and the US, however both quickly regrouped and caused many casualties for North Vietnam.
