Descrição:
Hiram was the son of Abibaal. He is credited with growing the Tyrian economy greatly.
Hiram had good relations with David, and even built David's palace in Jerusalem when David captured it (see 2 Samuel 5:11 & 1 Chronicles 14:1).
Hiram also had good relations with Solomon, helping him build the Temple in Jerusalem by giving him gold and selling him cedar timbers from Lebanon for the construction o the Temple and his palaces (see 1 Kings 5:1-12). Solomon gave Hiram 20 cities as repayment, though these did not make Hiram happy (see 1 Kings 9:10-14).
