Here is a clip of episode 1663 titled of Mr. Roger's Neighborhood "love". Mr. Roger's Neighborhood was a children's show that promoted kindness and acceptance in a neighborhood devoid of prejudice and injustice. In this infamous episode, Mr. Rogers and Officer Clemmons, a black, gay police officer (although he did not come out for many years later based on advice from Mr.Rogers) both dip their feet in a shared small pool on a hot day. This episode was notable because of the civil rights act of 1964, 30 years previous, that banned black and white people sharing pools and other public facilities.
