The atomic bombs dropped by the US were the turning point in the war for the Pacific countries. Two bombs were dropped in cities called Hiroshima and Nagasaki which devastated the cities until there was nothing left. The bombs were enough to make Japan surrender to the allies which is famously known as VJ Day to the Allies.
