Baron de Montesquieu (18 jan 1689 ano – 10 fev 1755 ano)

Descrição:

Baron de Montesquieu was a French writer and thinker who wrote Persian Letters in 1722, which was created to satirize French society under Louis XIV and its problems with modernization. He also wrote the Spirit of the Laws, which was published after Montesquieu's death. This text revealed Montesquieu's distaste towards Thomas Hobbes's idea of absolutism and demonstrated an early version of Democracy, in which there were 3 individual branches, the Executive, Legislative, and Judiciary branches, that would operate together to maintain the government.
