Isaac Newton was an English physicist, mathematician and astronomer who made many discoveries in various fields of science. He developed the laws of motion and gravity, which explained the movement of the planets around the Sun and satellites around the planets. Newton also studied light and color, developed differential and integral calculus, and created the first telescope capable of seeing the ultraviolet spectrum of the sun.
