Barely a decade after the fall of Quetzlovercoatl, heretofore unknown beings of the Underdark begin flooding up to the surface across Erentaea in large numbers. Already suspicious and battered from the war with Quetzlovercoatl's forces, Erentaea's peoples understand it as an invasion. The ensuing war rages in waves for nearly 50 years. Only once the two sides have battled to a standstill is the truth revealed: many of those seeking the surface were fleeing from uncharacteristically well-organized armies of fiends, themselves appearing seemingly out of nowhere.
