Boat People (1 jan 1978 ano – 1 jan 1979 ano)

Descrição:

After the collapse of the South Vietnamese Government in 1975, thousands of Vietnamese fled the country. Majority of these refugees fled by boat. Many people crowded into small boats, which were prey to pirates, and many suffered dehydration and starvation. Many also died by drowning. the height of the fleeing was between 1978 and 1979, but lasted until the 90's.
