Lewis and Clark Expedition (14 maio 1804 ano – 23 set 1806 ano)
Descrição:
The purpose of the expedition was to discover a water route connecting the Pacific Ocean and the Mississippi River. However, they learned a vast amount of other information including the landscapes and wildlife present in various areas of North America they had yet to discover. Lewis and Clark also interacted with the Natives throughout their journey, learning their whereabouts and implementing diplomatic relations.
This benefited all Americans as new lands to venture to were uncovered, and more animals were available for food. Additionally, trade improved as Lewis and Clark built relations with the Natives
