A mediocre system in the vast Empire of Xə (which stretches as a rough sphere a thousand light years from Sol), Polaris, had another Archailect awaken, known to Sol as the Northwind. The Northwind would storm Sol and assault Earth, conquering the planet at great cost, although it did not suffer as much as other planets, with the Jovian moon of Calisto being completely destroyed during the war. Xə would retreat to Canopus, while the Solar System would be ruled from Polaris.
