ARC: People were either very for or very against slavery, and activists from both sides who came to Kansas after the Kansas-Nebraska Act git into violent confrontations over the legality of slavery.
MIG: Activists came from other states to have a say in the fate of Kansas, which is who most of the people cdoingv the confronting were.
