Around 20 million people nationwide attended the inaugural events at thousands of sites including (Elementary schools,universities, and community sites). Students fraught for environmental causes and environmental degradation with energy that displayed in the Vietnam war. Twenty years after the first anniversary over 200 million people still celebrate earth day today.
