Democritus (Greek Model)
Democritus' model claimed that matter
consists of invisible particles called atoms and
emptiness (empty space). He claimed that
atoms are indestructible and unchangeable. In
addition, they are homogeneous, that is, they
do not have an internal structure. His atomic
model was solid and stated that all atoms differ
in size, shape, mass, position and location, and
there is a void between them. (3 jan 50 ano antes da era comum – 1 jan 1808 ano)
