Montgomery Bus Boycott (5 dez 1955 ano – 5 dez 1956 ano)
Descrição:
Inspired by Rosa Parks, on December 5, African Americans in Montgomery walked, rode bikes, or carpooled instead of taking the bus. The boycott inspired such participation that the protest was extended, and a young reverend, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., was chosen to lead it. It lasted almost a year. This resulted in Alabama’s bus segregation law was unconstitutional.
