It was from 2 may 1808 to 17 abr 1814. It started when France and Spain declared war to Portugal. The power vacuum led to a liberal revolution between Spain and America, and between 1808-1810 they installed a lot of government boards that exercised sovereignty in the name of the king Fernando.
