John Calvin is born in Noyon, France. He is the one who formed Calvinism and its basic beliefs are the ideas about God's plan for the salvation of humanity. He was influenced by both the Christian humanism of Erasmus and by the reforms of Luther. Calvin had grown up to have an influence in the spread of Protestantism as Luther did.
