In 1932 alone, the Bengal Legislative Council passed the Bengal Emergency Powers Ordinance, two amendments to those ordinances, the Bengal Criminal Law (Arms and Explosives) Act, the Bengal Criminal Law Amendment Act (amending the 1930 Act), the Bengal Public Security Act, and the Bengal Suppression of Terrorist Outrages, which replaced or modified several of the ordinances that had come before.
