Hitler had this thing going on called the Blitzkrieg aka "lightning war" which was that he did everything very fast. He used this technique to attack the polish, this led to Germany and the Soviet Union to divide Poland. Hitler also used this on Denmark, Norway, Netherlands, Belgium, and France. France was prepared for this attack, there plan was called the Maginot. Germany didn't care about this plan they just went around them. When Hitler was planning another attack, he realized that he needs to go on air. Their was called Luftwaffe. December of 1942, a counter attack the Soviet army came as an ominous to the year for the Germans.
