(1370-Post 1450) This empire was founded by Timur who created the empire in 1370, and ruled until his death in 1405. in 1467, the ruling dynasty lost most of Persia to invaders, but members of the dynasty continued to rule the empire in Timurid emirates. This empire was mainly Islam, and heavily embraced Persian culture.
