ronnie/william states on the FelixComplex K9 community page that the recording sessions the ponzi's did for the showstoppers albums took place between late 1980 and 1981, but stopped suddenly for unstated reasons at an unspecified date. these sessions were meant to stretch into 1982 and hopefully into 1983. according to the linked video, it appears that the band had too many personal issues with the producers and cut ties with them before they could finish what they started
