Authorizing the mayor, on behalf of the City, to sign a letter of intent to join the Compact of Mayors and pledge to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, track progress towards greenhouse gas reduction goals, and enhance the City's resiliency to climate change, in a manner that is consistent with and complementary to climate protection efforts at the national level.
