Hitler became Fuhrer on the second of august 1934. When Paul von Hindenburg, former president of Germany died, Hitler declared himself president, chancellor and head of the army. Once in reign, he made all armed forces swear a personalised oath of allegiance to Him. Hitler at this moment essentially made himself the absolute ruler of Germany. He became their dictator. Hitler becoming Fuhrer caused Germany to break the Treaty of Versailles. Eventually, his power caused the holocaust too which killed 6 million Jewish people. Hitler becoming Fuhrer affected millions of Soviet civilians, it also affected the way German Civilians saw each other. They often teamed up against each other because of their ethnicity and beliefs because of the propaganda of Nazi Germany.
