Karl Marx, assisted by Freidrich Engels, wrote the communist manifesto that was first published in London in the February of 1848, by a group called the communist league; a group of German revolutionary socialists. The communist manifesto argued that capitalism would one day fall in on itself and would eventually be replaced by socialism, eventually leading to communism.
