Mao wanted to move back to purity with China, and embarked on a revolution which would see political rivals gone, strengthening Mao's position in China.Used China's Red Guard to intimidate the USSR, and a 16 year old girl led the Red Guard. They threatened to burn down the Soviets embessy in Bejing.
