Theodore Roosevelt was the 26th president of The United States of America. He was from New York and as a president he worked hard to improve the quality of life for the average American. He was called the “the trustbuster” for his accomplishments of breaking many companies that had formed monopolies. Other that this he helped to increase the safety standards of food and medicine with the Meat Inspection Act, the Pure Food Act and the Drug Act.
