Descrição:
- Is a period of time from 1930 to 1939 where the entirety of the world suffered almost a decade of high unemployment rates, poverty, deflation, low profits, and bad income. The major cause for this was the stock market crash in 1929.
- Following the Great depression there was also a Global Trade war against the US, due to their increase of trade boundaries in an attempt to get out of a depression. The trade war resulted in Australian exports and imports to the US declining. Additionally, Australia is in a depression meant that there was not abundant enough money flowing in the economy in order to create necessary goods and services for export.
