The Lord answered Moses, “See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and Aaron your brother will be your prophet.
2 You must say whatever I command you; then Aaron your brother must declare it to Pharaoh so that he will let the Israelites go from his land. 3 But I will harden Pharaoh’s heart and multiply my signs and wonders in the land of Egypt.
4 Pharaoh will not listen to you, but I will put my hand into Egypt and bring the military divisions of my people the Israelites out of the land of Egypt by great acts of judgment.
5 The Egyptians will know that I am the Lord when I stretch out my hand against Egypt and bring out the Israelites from among them.”

6 So Moses and Aaron did this; they did just as the Lord commanded them.
7 Moses was eighty years old and Aaron eighty-three when they spoke to Pharaoh. -- Exodus 7:1-7 (CSB)

7 Moses was one hundred twenty years old when he died; his eyes were not weak, and his vitality had not left him.
8 The Israelites wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days. Then the days of weeping and mourning for Moses came to an end.

9 Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom because Moses had laid his hands on him. So the Israelites obeyed him and did as the Lord had commanded Moses.
10 No prophet has arisen again in Israel like Moses, whom the L knew face to face.
11 He was unparalleled for all the signs and wonders the Lord sent him to do against the land of Egypt ​— ​to Pharaoh, to all his officials, and to all his land—
12 and for all the mighty acts of power and terrifying deeds that Moses performed in the sight of all Israel. -- Deuteronomy 34:7-12 (CSB)
