The most infamous bank robbers and serial murderers in American and World history, as well as lovers. The were very popular to the public, seen by many as heros.
Robbing banks and gas stations as well as numerous murders across multiple states, including; Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Iowa, and Michigan.
Their five year crime spree came to an end on May 23, 1934, when retired Texas Rangers teamed with other lawmen ambushed them in Sailes, Bienville Parish, Louisiana. The couple stopped for what they thought to be a friend with a blown out tire, but was actually a trap layed by law enforcement. Over 130 rounds were fired at the Parker and Barrow, killing Clyde instantly and Bonnie within seconds. Seen as idols by some, over 10,000 people attended Clyde Barrow's funeral, while between 20,000 and an estimated 40,000 people attended Bonnie Parker's funeral.
