Priestley was the first person to isolated oxygen scientifically. Antione Lavoisier experimented with oxygen and reacted it with inflammable air which is hydrogen to produce water. He concluded that air is a mixture containing oxygen. (1 jan 1770 ano – 1 jan 1800 ano)
