Leonius (1 jan 1150 ano – 1 jan 1200 ano)
Descrição:
He was a likely French canon at the Notre Dame cathedral. He is credited with compiling the Magnus Liber Organi (the great book of polyphony). Though no such book survives from Leonius’ lifetime, the repertory is preserved in several thirteenth-century manuscripts that include additions and substitutions by later composers.
