"Institutes of the Christian Religion" (1 jan 1536 ano – 31 dez 1536 ano)
Descrição:
Switzerland was a safe place for Protestants which encouraged Calvin to write the "Institutes of the Christian Religion." His masterwork became the single most important statement of Protestant belief and gave him some reputation among other Protestant leaders. His teachings emphasized the sovereignty of the scriptures and divine predestination: a doctirine holding that God determines who will enter heaven based on His omnipotence and grace. Calvin continuously revised and edited his works until his death.
