John Adams was the second president of the United States. He was a huge federalist and was responsible for the passing of the Alien and Sedition acts. John Adams was also a huge leader of the American Revolution and challenged Britain’s authority of the colonies. He was very significant because he put an end to the maritime conflict between the French and America.
