Assyrian Empire (1 jan 911 ano antes da era comum – 1 jan 632 ano antes da era comum)

Descrição:

In North East Mesopotamia, Adad-nirari II took control of his small nation of Assyria. A land named after a son of Shem, and a former Kingdom of Ancient Akkad. The Assyrians had boasted a couple of small empires since Akkad, occupying a land that boarded the Hittites and Canaanites, but starting with the campaigns of Adad-nirari in 911 BCE, the Assyrians subjugated people surrounding them, including the Aramaic tribes, Iranians, and even Babylonia. As each King succeeded the last, the Empire continued to grow ever more.
