Victoriano Huerta was a militant who, with Madero rising to power, conspired against Porfirio´s government. Ater fiercely fighting against Zapata, Huerta planned the biggest treason in the history of Mexico. Working with the US ambassador Henry Lane, he betrayed Madero´s government with a coup.
