Descrição:

These series of wars were mostly between Arab Muslims and the Byzantine Empire, started during some Muslim conquests under Rashidun and his successors. The Arab Muslims ended up taking most of the territories of the Byzantine Empire in the end.
Why I put this event on here is because the Byzantine Empire was the remains of the once massive Roman Empire. This was a key turning point for the Byzantine Empire as it had lost so much territory after this period of wars.
