A period of near-constant strife between the Sunblest (Who believed the Lords of Starlight would return to them, their loyal subjects, in time) and the Sunless (Who chose to forsake the Brilliant Gods as they had forsaken men before, and preached their beliefs of human individualism) spanning more than eight hundred cycles.
In the annals of the Sunborn, this period is regarded as a single ongoing event because fewer than two decades at a time went without wars or other small/large-scale conflicts between these two factions and other smaller peoples which formed their own identities separate from the struggle over the Lords of Starlight. It is accepted that the end of this period comes with the fall of the Kingdom of the Sunblest and the exile of the Sunborn, as well as the Sunless securing their dominance over the Easternlands.
