The British Revolution (2 maio 1806 ano – 12 nov 1811 ano)
Descrição:
In massive public uprisings against the Georgian Emergency Tax, the British population starts an anti-monarchical movement never before seen. The revolutionary movements were originally constrained to northern England, mainly concerning Liverpool dock workers and craftsmen in Manchester.
The "Liverpool Slaughter" of May 8th, 1806, where British royal troops kill 135 people (a number artificially raised even further by revolutionary propagandists, to up to 3,000), is the catalyst of spreading the revolution to cities like Birmingham, Edinburgh and most importantly London.
