World War two started when Germany invaded Poland. Hitler and the Nazi party was a key factor in starting WWII. The instability created in Europe after the first world war also set the stage for another world war. After Germans Invasion on Poland the UK, USSR, France, China and many other Allies quickly joined to fight against Nazi Germany, Italy, and Japan (and a few other Axis powers). After the bombing on Pearl Harbor the U. S. (along with most of middle and south america) joined the Allies in the war. Most of the world participated in fighting the war with only a few countries staying completely neutral. The Allied powers won the war. Upwards of 25 million people died during the war with countless other wounded.
