Descrição:

Many young mixed race indigenous Australians from 1910 to 1970 were ripped away by the government and from their homes and families. Then they would be placed in institutions. They believed that the children would be "improved" and then they would integrate into "white society". It proposed that indigenous people would soon after "die out". They focused on half cast children because their lighter skin was believed to "wash out".
