The Renaissance was a period in European History marking the rebirth following the middle ages. The Renaissance was manly led by Leonardo da Vinci who introduced new art into Europe. Artists like Leonard experimented with different art styles and brought in more art culture. Causes such as, interactions between different cultures, the rediscover of Greek and roman texts, and increased humanism where what gave rise to the Renaissance.
