The evolution of government and nationalism (1 jan 1920 ano – 31 dez 1929 ano)

In the early 1920s the soviet union sent political and military advisors to help modernize the chinese army.
In July of 1921, a small group gathered and founded the chinese communist party.
In hopes to free their country from foreign domination
In 1925, when former leader Sun Yixian died Chaing Kai-Shek took over.
He helped the nationalist army grow stronger
The next year starting 1926, he created the northern expedition a group trying to destroy the warlords.
The left wing Kuomintang members were not satisfied whereas the conservative right wing was.
In 1927 Chaing expelled the left wing while the loyal right wing fought for him in the communist stronghold of Shanghai.
Trying to abide by there needs Chaing set up the One party system.
Industrialization was hard to obtain because foreigners slowed economic developement.
Two crucial problems were ignored these were land ownership and tax collection.
In the end communists overpowered the nationalists.
This threatened the nationalists leading to the executions of the communists which ultimately ended their truce.
