The league of nations was founded January 1920 after treaty of Versailles was signed in 1919 its main reason for being founded was to attempt to maintain world peace by getting leaders of various country’s to voice concerns that the country might be having this would allow for country’s to attempt to help each other and stay in regular contact with each other. Another reason the league of nations to be founded was that disputes between countries to solve their problems with negotiation. The reason for the leagues failure was that the fact that Germany and Russia was not allowed into the group there for creating more unrest which eventually led to the rise of Nazi party which could have been avoided if the Germans were allowed into the negotiations that occurred at the meetings.
