I started to question God's existence in my life; felt quite disconnected from Him at this time, and my faith was waning because of it. My pastor encouraged me to—in all things—seek for answers about/concerning God from Him and never away from Him; to not go to people for answers and abandon God, as that was a slippery slope to completely disconnecting from Him
