What to Bring to the Test Center
Admission ticket and photo ID (or any other required acceptable and valid identification). If you are testing outside your country of citizenship, you must present a valid passport as your primary ID document. Please visit www.ets.org/praxis/test_day/id and carefully review the identification requirements. If you do not bring proper ID to the test center, you may not be permitted to test. Your admission ticket is important because it contains the test center address and reporting time on test day. However, you are not required to present it at the test center to take the test. You will be permitted to test without the admission ticket.
If you are taking a computer-delivered test, please do NOT bring your own pencils or erasers. They will be supplied at the test center.
If you are taking the Braille Proficiency Assessment (0633), bring three or four sharpened, soft lead (No. 2 or HB) pencils, an eraser, a manual braillewriter and a traditional slate and stylus. These are not supplied at the test center. To get more information on the specific braillewriter, slate and stylus you must bring with you to the testing center, view the Study Companion, found at https://www.ets.org/s/praxis/pdf/0633.pdf. (PDF)
(optional) A blue or black pen for any constructed-response (essay) portion of your paper-delivered tests. Pens are not supplied at the test center.
A calculator if allowed for your test. Test taker-supplied calculators are not permitted for tests that offer on-screen calculators. For information on Calculator Use see www.ets.org/praxis/test_day/policies/calculators.
If you are taking the Art: Content and Analysis (5135) test, you must sign in to your Praxis Account, at www.ets.org/mypraxis, upload four (4) digital images of your artwork in at least 2 different media, enter the required information, and print a copy of each image. It is extremely important for test takers to bring the printout of all four digital reproductions of their work to the testing site. The image ID number on the printouts is a critical part of the art-making responses. Test takers will be asked to enter this image ID number as the first line of their responses when taking the test. You must upload these images no later than 3 days before test day. For example, the deadline to upload images for a Saturday appointment is Wednesday at 11:59 p.m. ET. You will be unable to upload or edit images after the deadline.
