James Bowie, Stephen F. Austin, Edward Burleson, and James Fannin were involved in this siege. On October 13, Stephen F. Austin led his forces towards Béxar to confront the Mexican troops. The Texans initiated a siege of the city and it resulted in a Texan victory.
