Henry Puyi: (Feb. 7 1906 - Oct. 17 1967) Last Emperor of Qing Dynasty. Appointed by Empress Cixi before she died. He was Emperor from 1908 through 1911/12 when he was still a child.
Yuan Shikai: (Sept. 16, 1859 - June 6, 1916) Army leader and political reformer. He was the first president of the Republic of China from 1912 through 1916. He declared himself the new emperor, but was forced to resign.
Sun Yat-sen: (Nov. 12, 1866 - March 12, 1925) He was the leader of the Chinese Nationlist Party. Provisional president of the Republic of China (1911-1912) He was succeeded by Yuan Shikai
